Perceived Exaltation

If you frequent social media then you may have seen how some people interact with celebrities. People in the entertainment industry who are famous and popular in the mainstream media. Both male and female celebrities have a wide range of fans: from the causal “Love your work.” types, to the overzealous “Oh my god, you’re my idol!” types. Both can be quite respectable in their interactions and both can make a celebrity’s experience on social media a pleasant and exciting one.

But there is also another spectrum of fandom in society. This one includes fans who’s opinions are more based in their core of heart, be-it admiration or spite. These particular fans, whichever end of the spectrum they’re on, they are either positive or negative purely. From the unconditionally adoring “You’ve inspired me, I’m with you no matter what.” types, to the spitefully aspersing “You suck, and I hope you die.” types.

Both can be quite revealing in their extremes and both can come-off as unexpectedly perturbing, to a degree. But I would say that both are somewhat necessary as the prior example (the adoring type) is the type to stick by you no matter what, and the latter (the disparaging type) keep you cautious and vigilant.
As fans (and admirers) some of us tend to forget that these are still flawed human beings. They have dreams, aspirations, fears, obsessions, habits, beliefs, convictions, phobias (probably not Public Speaking though), and desires. They are educated on somethings, they are uneducated on somethings, they have perspectives and opinions, they make mistakes and sometimes bad choices, they have responsibilities and concerns. They are not perfect (well, one of them is, to me) but their popularity does not make them any-less merited of respect.

Some people get lost in the fantasy of their profession, and forget that the individual portraying a character is still a living being, and is to be respected as such.

In The Company of Dignity

Recently, professional wrestler & pod-caster supreme, Mr. Colt Cabana released an episode of his podcast ‘Art of Wrestling’ featuring one of my three favorite people & favorite-favorite wrestlers. I finally got to listen to it, and now I’m going to give my invaluable perspective on it.

I’ve been inspired by this individual (his guest) she has been extremely kind to me and forgiven me when I was a different person. After listening to what she has gone through, the trails and adversity she’s had to face and how she has dealt with it all: I now know why The Creator brought her to my attention nearly five years ago. Let’s just say that we have more in common than I thought. She has this humility and integrity that I don’t see so often, she and the other two who I hope will be interviewed by Mr. C. someday.

To face such ignorance from people that don’t even know her, and so much aspersion from people who’ve never even met her, and still maintain this dignity and maturity that she does: is nothing short of inspiring. She doesn’t know it, but she has inspired me to being more mature & less disagreeable. She’s been a real blessing, as the others have but with her there’s this commonality that exists.

Please check out this episode of ‘Art of Wrestling’ so far it is my favorite since Mr. Punk’s first sit-down. Major props to this lady, this wonderful spirit enclosed in an amazing body (hope that didn’t sound creeptacular) and my endless respect.

The Deft Ones of Their Craft

As a lifelong (nearly) fan/admirer of the craft that is Professional Wrestling, I have seen many different practitioners perform. Many from the brilliance of their own creative mind, and some with the inspiration of others. Some original, and some eclectic, but usually noticeable in some manner be it positively, or negatively.

As a fan I had to learn my place especially on Social Media, and realize that I needed to address and approach them as their personas. Some fans might use the phrase “playing along” but I am reluctant to out of respect to this being the wrestler’s livelihood (or significant hobby) in fact, the wrestlers I adore are independent and it is most definitely their livelihood, rather than just a “for fun only” hobby. Lord knows I try to keep from overstepping my boundaries, but I’m afraid I slip up every known and then.

But thankfully, I have had the blessed pleasure of interacting with the very mature, very dignified and humble people. People who, despite having “blue checks”, still haven’t let their success go to their heads. They haven’t lost touch with reality, humanity, and their integrity, even the one that gets super-deep into character. She gets so deep into character, satan has to look down at her. But you know what, she is one of the most pleasantly thoughtful people I have ever virtually-met.

She knows how to remain her person and separate that from her professional personal, and that’s one of (if not the) most wonderful attributes about Professional Wrestlers. Of course it’s fun to maintain a character during an unexpected time, I do it quite often myself.
But sometimes you enjoy seeing your favorite being normal. I’ll never forget that picture of Luna Vachon driving a truck. I remember thinking: “God she’s beautiful, and just a normal lady!” That was some years ago, but today I get to see that still.

Let’s take two of my three favorite-favorites for example, one of whom I mentioned previously as getting so deep into character. One of them is frightening, and the other is horrifying. They both give me the feeling that my days are number, and certain death is imminent. But you know what, these are two of the kindest, generous, forgiving, empathetic people.

The third’s persona isn’t really known for intimidation, but when she’s crossed, folks get crucified. She doesn’t have a mean-streak, she has a mean reckoning when she gets good & ready. I won’t name these three, ’cause I’m too young to die, but they know who they are. 🌹 😜 💀

As We Forgive Those

Today I saw a Meme, and it immediately inspired me to write this. Someone I adore, and wish I had as a friend once said “I’m all but ashamed of my faith.”

I couldn’t agree with her more. So although I do not feel shame after reading this Meme, I do feel the need to speak (type) on it.

Here are just some of the problems with this Meme.

1. The Christian doctrine teaches that “God” forgives us for our sin, even those which are natural (like lust, and anger) and he also forgives us for being inquisitive enough to question what Man (the author of religion) has told us.

So if “God” condemned them for having an interest in sex, and for not subscribing to a particular religious denomination, then said condemnation would go against the very teachings of that God’s sun: specifically the part which says “no condemnation”

2. The person who wrote the caption in this Meme (and those who agree with it) did not personally know Mr. Nelson, nor Mr. Jackson, and therefore all of their claims are mere speculation.

As a result of being completely ignorant of these gentlemen personally, they also don’t know what is in the hearts of each individual. Something that many believers use to justify their willful disobedience of their God’s laws.

So, if those disobedient Christians are safe from damnation because of “grace and mercy” then why aren’t these two men? It is as if your sin isn’t considered as damning as theirs.
Which reminds me of the quote “Sin, is sin.” as to say that it is all considered of the same level of severity. Which is odd because logically a torturer should be considered more harmful than a person who believed in a different religion.

3. Anyone who condemns these men (by making, posting, or agreeing with a Meme like this) in their heart has already condemned their fellow Man. And has failed to forgive others, as God has forgiven them.

So, by all definitions you would be a hypocrite and a condemning person who failed to show the same mercy and forgiveness that you say is shown to you. If you’re not perfect, then why were either of those two supposed to be?

The Cry of Stone Casters

I’ve been a on Social Media for a little more than seven years now. And in that time I have encountered the type of behavior that I thought I left behind in Elementary School. People being as brazenly-crass & disrespectful as undisciplined, and unruly children.

Recently I have virtually met some people whom I have developed quite a significant respect-for, and admiration-of. And although these people are considered to be “public figures” a term which people misinterpret often, they are still individuals with rights to respect and privacy.

But unfortunately there are some people in CyberSpace who lack integrity, humility, respect, and validation. These particular people spend their time and efforts sucking the energy out of others, and it is no coincidence that their common targets are always people of exceptional popularity.

These Energy Vampires if you will, are constantly speaking ill of popular people, but all of them are quickly offended when corrected by others.

What does it say about a person who has to constantly cast aspersions on others? What does it say about someone who has to insult others? Is it a feeling of self depreciation? Is it a feeling of uselessness and irrelevance? I’ve noticed that these types are always conceded and very full of haughtiness. Which comes as no surprise, if they would so expressively degrade others who are more acknowledged than they.

These types of people are a hindrance to the Social Evolution of this society, they keep many held back with their selfishness and disrespect. They deceive the current generation by making them think this type of behavior is okay, and simply a “freedom of expression”

These types of people should not be allowed to thrive, they are bullies in the purest sense of the term and must be made to suffer that which they have caused others to. If we are going to progress as an ever technologically-awakening Society, then these bullies have got to be weeded out and disabled.

If you don’t care for someone, theim being a celebrity or popularized does not give you the obligation to insult them. You can dislike someone without publicly disparaging them, and to their employer no less. Meanwhile, hiding behind an Avatar and Screen Name so that your employer, assuming that you do work, isn’t privy to your delinquency.

To Gain The Whole World

The Entertainment Industry is possibly the most sought after Career in modern day Society. Many people have dreams and aspirations of either being in the Spotlight, or creating a lucrative platform for others to. We are constantly told in Popular Culture, to “follow your dreams” and “you can achieve anything”.
But the question has always been, at what cost? When we’re told that great success requires sacrifice, what exactly are we sacrificing? Our personal desires? That can’t be it because some of the most moderately paid of Celebrities will indulge on personal desires. Be it drugs, promiscuity, excess, or validation through popularity.

In books, lectures, and rumor I have been told that perversion can often be a requiem for the manifestation of a dream. Here are some of the requirements in bullet form.

– To become world famous in the Music Industry one must take the “Oath of Baphomet” and eventually offer a “Blood Sacrifice” in order to have millions of dollars and 20 Million views on your own Vevo YouTube channel.

This may explain why many if not all of the very popularized Celebrities have a horrific story of a murder in their family or immediate circle of friends, right around the time they become very famous.

It is said that the Celebrity is given a letter which is coded, the wording may even seen strange but if they agree to the letter then they sign it and the person is killed. Then they receive an extremely large sum of money.

– To gain prominence in the Television and Film Industry one must perform degrading sexual favors. This may also explain the link between Pornography and the Entertainment Industry including Music, Film, Wrestling, and Sports.

– Many widely known Celebrities have “secret sex tapes” because the Fraternal Order of Executives (Producers who run Hollywood behind the scenes) will often use them as blackmail to keep a Celebrity from speaking on the darker routines of Showbiz.

Human Sacrifice and “Casting Couches” are nothing new. Human Sacrifice goes back centuries, and performing sexual favors for positional authority can be found in personal relationships, so the idea of it being used Institutionally is not far fetched.

And worshiping Lucifer for prominence can be found in Biblical Scripture. “He took him up on a high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and said You may have all of this if you would just bow and worship me” that was supposed to be Lucifer tempting Yahshua.

This is what Selling Your Soul means, it means you have shed other’s blood and degraded yourself to the submission of indulgences and vain desires.
